Personally I don't like running on treadmills but it can be nice sometimes when the weather is just to bad.
Runreviews looks like a great site, I came a cross the site a few days ago.
Hey Patrik! I'm with you. A treadmill is my last resort. I have found that running intervals or fartleks while on the treadmill breaks the monotony and makes it a little more fun, but I'll take the outdoors anyday!!!
Thanks for the link to the site--I might break down this year--sometimes its even too snowy to get out to the gym....
Hey Kristin! I'm usually running in all kinds of weather. Here in NC, ice is often the winter culprit that keeps me off the roads. My problem is that our house is so small, there's no room for a treadmill!
Great minds think alike... I just said today, I need to look at "dreadmills"...
Hey Runrgrl2007! I love that term--"dreadmills"! LOL! If you decide on gettin one, I'd love to know what you get.
I run a lot on a treadmill. Never an excuse not to run! And much, much easier on the knees.
Hey NY Wolve! Haven't heard from you in a while! Hope all is well up your way! Oh treadmills are great and a necessity for many. I probably just don't use them enough to get use to them. They do come in handy here in NC when we go through a rainy cold spell. Glad it helps out with your knees. Anything for injury prevention!
the dreadmill. how i hate you .. lol
Okay, I must be some sort of freak. I LIKE my treadmill - great to pound out a 5-6 mile run first thing in the morning INSIDE when it's cold/dark/wet/snowing outside.
