If I had only stayed with the 19, I would have not been nursing an injury for 3 months.

As always good advice.

Thanks!Laurenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05538884619777387595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6007050355748263232.post-46935292414793289842010-04-18T20:57:15.819-04:002010-04-18T20:57:15.819-04:00Hi Derek! The racing is fun, makes it hard to pair-down that list.RunnerDudehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15209079063314051451noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6007050355748263232.post-34359257349307613762010-04-18T20:55:34.192-04:002010-04-18T20:55:34.192-04:00Hi jokach! Ended up with a stress fracture in my heel.RunnerDudehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15209079063314051451noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6007050355748263232.post-66602095510154907952010-04-18T20:30:48.277-04:002010-04-18T20:30:48.277-04:00Great blog. When people are filling out their race calenders for the year. I've put a little to much on mine, not too close together just a lot of events, add in weekends where I'm working and it can be a lot. Awesome fun though!Derek Hillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03204833467542945210noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6007050355748263232.post-4358869945654874722010-04-18T20:25:58.502-04:002010-04-18T20:25:58.502-04:00Good advice, I find myself being in scenario #2 (a...Good advice, I find myself being in scenario #2 (although not racing every weekend). It took a lot of training and experience to understand the concept that you wrote about about needing to to keep up your base mileage and allow for some recovery before races. I tried to do 2 marathons just 3 weeks apart back in 2008 and did great in the first marathon, and terrible in the second and will never do that again... since then I space them out a bit more and plan my training for it to allow for adequate recovery and base mileage before hitting the next race, it really does keep you conditioned.jokachhttp://www.getyourserenity.com/blognoreply@blogger.com
